The work is already carrying into teams
“I’m hearing kids say, ‘We’ve got to work.’ I’m happy I don’t have to hammer it—especially in a negative way.”
After applying the first Mastermind session, one coach returned and reported that athletes were beginning to reinforce the team’s effort standard with one another. That is the shift we are working toward.

Accountability without damaging the relationship.

How to Hold Athletes Accountable Without Damaging the Relationship
Matt Minkus and Kerry Castillo walk coaches through a practical way to make the standard clear, invite ownership, and prepare for one real accountability conversation.
How the working session works
Implementation—not more information.
The room is intentionally practical. You arrive with a real situation and leave ready to do something about it.
Name the real challenge
Start with what is actually happening inside your team—not a hypothetical problem.
Use one practical system
Matt and Kerry introduce one framework, tool, or piece of usable language.
Adapt it to your team
Work independently and through selected coach hot seats to make the tool specific.
Take one clear action
Try the action within seven days and report back on what actually happened.
Request a seat if you are willing to participate live, bring a real team situation, try one action afterward, and send us a short update. That commitment is more valuable than passive attendance.

Common questions
What to know before requesting a seat.
Is the September session really free?
Yes. There is no payment or credit card required. This is the final open session in our founding-season experiment, and attending does not automatically enroll you in anything afterward.
What happens after I request a seat?
You will receive confirmation, preparation instructions, and the event link by email. Bring the real culture or leadership situation you submit in the form.
Do I need to participate live?
Live participation is where the greatest value happens, so working seats are intended for coaches who plan to attend. You can still request information about the replay if the time does not work.
Is this only for a specific sport?
No. The systems are designed to work across sports. The room is built primarily for head coaches and serious assistants working with high school, college, club, or competitive youth teams.
What happens after September?
That has not been decided. We are using the founding season to learn what kind of implementation support is most useful to coaches. September participants will be among the first to hear what, if anything, comes next.
