Six-week guided pilot For high school head coaches

Your athletes know the standard. Momentum helps them live it.

You should not have to carry the standard alone. Momentum gives athletes a simple weekly rhythm to reflect, recognize teammates, and begin holding one another accountable.

The real tension

If you are the only one holding the standard, your team does not own it yet.

You keep reminding, correcting, and asking captains to lead. Your athletes may know the values—but when practice gets difficult, roles change, or adversity hits, accountability still depends on you.

Fewer reminders. More ownership.

01TensionYou keep repeating it.

03MechanismOne standard. Every week.

See the weekly rhythm in about 90 seconds.

Momentum is not another library of culture content. It is a simple operating rhythm for putting the standards you already believe in front of your athletes every week.

Built weekly

Coach-fed. Player-led. Built in the moments that repeat.

01

Choose

Launch one visible standard.

Start with a behavior your athletes can recognize in practice, competition, and everyday team life.

02

Reflect

Let athletes check in honestly.

A short reflection asks athletes to notice whether their actions matched the standard.

03

Reinforce

Recognize what you want repeated.

Coach recognition and teammate input make the right behavior more visible than another reminder.

04

See

Close the week with a recap.

The Sunday Recap brings participation, reflection, and recognition into one shared team moment.

Six weeks from now

The standard starts sounding less like your voice—and more like theirs.

Progress can look like...

  • An athlete redirects a teammate before you have to
  • Quiet players are recognized for behaviors that usually go unseen
  • Team values show up in specific reflections—not just posters and slogans
  • You finish the week with evidence of what is—or is not—taking hold

Not a perfect culture in six weeks. A visible shift toward athletes noticing, naming, and owning what matters.

The six-week pilot

Six weeks. One clear test.

Can a simple weekly rhythm help your athletes take more ownership of the standards—and reduce how often accountability depends on you? Launch Momentum with your team and find out without a long-term commitment.

Before you begin

A few honest answers.

Is the $49 pilot a subscription?

No. It is a one-time payment for the six-week pilot. The pilot does not renew automatically.

What if Momentum is not useful for my team?

Use Momentum with your team during the six-week pilot. If you do not believe it was useful, tell Matt and receive a full refund.

Will my athletes actually use this?

No tool can guarantee participation, but Momentum is designed to ask very little of athletes: a short weekly check-in and a simple opportunity to recognize a teammate—not another daily assignment. Your personal launch call helps you introduce the rhythm clearly, and the six-week pilot gives you enough time to see whether it takes hold. The Sunday Recap closes the loop by surfacing participation and teammate recognition, giving quieter athletes a visible way to contribute without having to be the loudest voice in the room.

Do we need perfectly defined standards before starting?

No. You can bring your existing values, use a ready-to-start example, and work through the first standard during your launch call.

What happens after the six-week pilot?

If Momentum is useful for your team, you can choose to continue on the annual plan for $179 per year. Your $49 pilot payment is credited toward the first year, leaving a remaining balance of $130. At the end of six weeks, you decide whether to continue. If Momentum is not useful for your team, you can stop and ask for a full refund.

Is Momentum limited to one sport?

No. The weekly rhythm is designed for high school teams across sports because it focuses on standards and visible behavior, not sport-specific tactics.

Will this add another daily task for the coach?

Momentum is designed as a weekly rhythm. The coach launches one standard and reinforces what matters; athlete participation and the recap carry the rest of the loop.
